Mr. Morrison has been with Research & Polling since 1999. As Project Manager, he manages several large-scale projects including a contract with the New Mexico Administrative Office of the Courts to provide technical and professional assistance for the New Mexico Judicial Performance Evaluation Program. His responsibilities include project timeline management, budgeting, survey administration, data analysis and database management. He has managed the New Mexico Judicial Performance contract since 2004. He also worked as a consultant to Talmey-Drake Research on the Colorado Judicial Performance contract for two years (2010 to 2011), prior to acting as project manager on the Colorado Judicial Performance contract for an additional three years (2012 to 2015).
Mr. Morrison is also a Redistricting Specialist and has managed multiple projects for county commissions, city councils, and local school boards in New Mexico. He has created redistricting plans and presented them, along with redistricting principles, in public hearing settings. He has participated in state Legislative and Congressional redistricting. Most recently, he aided in the completion of Phase 1 and 2 of the Census Redistricting Data Program in New Mexico. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, with a focus on demography, from the University of Texas at Austin.
